Memmory

This is my story
it is a dark one
put out your hand
and I will try to guide you

I see by the light of faith
and memory, foregoing the use
of my eyes in a place
where they do no good

The darkness is deep
and the shadows are heavy,
where they fall on you
there they remain, remembered,
to weigh you down
